Where to Find My Mind
Where to Find My Mind
It's been more than suggested to me that I go start a blog somewhere.
I've done that in the past. It's a pretty desolute place where nobody
but you ever visits. It's like going outside and letting the air out of
your car's tires. It serves no useful purpose.
But I have found something better. Start a new group on Yahoo.com.
You have more to work with, and you can live with the expectation
sooner of later, you will be stumbled upon.
So I've started three groups on Yahoo over the last year, and have
discontinued one. The one on USA Silver Coins sort of reached its limits,
and had attracted no-one. No bid deal, I just desolved it.
The other two are rather recent. The thing about a group is that you can
treat it like a forum, assuming that anybody is interested.
I'm not going to name the two groups here, just say that they are under
government/politics/other. They express my concerns about the USA and
World economics situation and what I've learned is the root of it all. I
say "learned", because I've used search engines to run down leads to
articles and reports that confirm what I've come to understand.
Makes for interesting reading, because I include those links in the posts
I've placed with those two groups. Oh, the number of posts on the
first group total just 10 so far, and the number of posts on the second,
which is a spin-off of the first, totals just 2 at this point. I've a few
more in mind, but I'm waiting for some inspiration to hit me first.
The original group? It was about the reasons to invest in gold, silver,
real estate, or other commodity as a way of beating the rapid
depreciation of fiat currency (unbacked paper money that is being
printed to oblivion). Did you know that 19 states have new laws now
that allow for gold to be used as currency? There are other states
that are working to get their own laws passed. Shows you how much
they trust in the paper dollar's future at this point. Everybody is
focused on gold, but silver is not a bad bet either. Especially USA
silver coins before 1965.
You want more news in this area, I can recommend the S&A (Stansberry
and Associates) reports and Profit Confidential. They tell you a lot
about what is going on all over.

Look at the above quote. You're doing it again -- blogging here when you've been told to stop, even by the mods and admins. But you just can't help yourself. Are you even a coder? Why are you even here? Are you just an internet troll?oldefoxx wrote:Did you know that 19 states have new laws now

Why such hostility? This post is in "off topic".

Best to all.

MachineCode thinks OldeFoxx a wastrel
And distainfully says it is crucial
He must use his noggin
And stop all his blogging
For what he writes is most distasteful

How poetic. How inane.
It would seem that one of us

I couldn't agree more. He's posting in the offtopic section and despite numerous attacks on him, doesn't take the low road in his responses. Please just let him be, he isn't hurting anyone and some of us do read his stuff.rsts wrote:Wow - no love for old oldefoxx.

Excuse me: it's not just I. Let's take an educated look at what other people have said about OldeFoxx:BorisTheOld wrote:MachineCode thinks OldeFoxx a wastrel

No one said you were a "bad guy". I, for one, appreciate your normal contributions. We merely asked for some tolerance.

I need to get off this internets thing for a while, I think. I get angry too easily these days.

No one here is bad, although some get a little agitated occasionally. Sometimes a gentle reminder is necessary to bring some civility back into the proceedings.MachineCode wrote:So, kindly stop trying to imply that his posts are an issue that only I have. I'm not the "bad guy" here. Thank you.
Actually, I thought it was a pretty good limerick.
