does it matter? the only point that matters is: how good is his / her / its code...

It doesn't really matter, but it is very interesting. I remember when I used to teach computer and information science, the ratio of male to female was almost equal. But back when I was young guys always outnumbered the women in computer class. I personally would like to see more women programmers, in general I think their thought processes work a little different when it comes to logic. Not good, nor bad, just different. Which could give a different angle on questions to certain programming answers. But I guess if their is no women programmers here their is no way to tell, Right
