After some time of not using PureBasic today I have tried to get a 4.61 version of
PureBasic work on my MacBook Pro using Mac OS X 10.8.2. But all I get is:
PureBasic - Assembler error
sh: nasm: command not found
So what has to be done to get a current test version of PureBasic run here?
Best regards.

How to get an example started ?
Re: How to get an example started ?
Install Xcode command line tools - you'd better use the 5.00 beta as it's a major revamp of Purebasic on OSX

Well, I am sure to have Xcode already installed.
Nevertheless I just have made a money transaction for
to pay for an upgrade, also to get the current beta.
Thank you and regards to all active PB users !

You need the commandline tools, which can be installed from Xcode or directly from the internet, google itOctopus wrote:Well, I am sure to have Xcode already installed.

Well, indeed the command line tools had been missing ...

Still the beta is not working. Starting an example will make PureBasic non reacting.
My OS X has version 10.8.2 - where does the beta work?
