That would be the solution, but it'd be a bit more complicated (and not everyone would want that).
I'm adding this to my list but I won't do it right now ;)

Okay,

you can include in your Options a new Checkbox for change ResizeImage().
Everybody can choose it.

Thank you for adding in your list.

As a Profi, you should not use a jpg and you should resize your image with photoshop!

There is no reason to come up with "German mentality" or something like this.
I guess in any other country there are people, who are unsatisfied with the new vd.
So what?
Try to create a piece of software which satisfies the whole world. You'll fail!

Keep up the good work Polo.
Reaching 80-90% of PBs users will make sure, that all of your effort hit bullseye.

Nothing was against Germans indeed, no worries, just against a few guys who made some useless comments ;)

Hi Polo, hi board,

keep up working on the new Form Designer. It's really great! Just try to filter for positive critics and feedback :-)
Don't listen to my fellow people from Germany criticizing your work. It's not "German Mentality", just some people ranting about everything, they don't like at first sight.

btw.: It's the best extra for PB on the Mac so far! I was waiting such a long time for this.

Wow, checked back after a few days and loads happened.

One request to add, when selecting a value in the properties tab, if it's a X/Y/Width/Height value, could you add a feature that if mouse wheel is used then it adjusts the value, would allow quick and simple fine tuning. (probably quite difficult to do though :))

Hi polo,
I found a strange behaviour with .ico files, some do not show in FD (but work correctly in the real PB file), and some crash Form Designer.

Here is a link to an .ico file which causes a crash
http://www.iconfinder.com/icondetails/3 ... _view_icon

Here is a link to an ico file which is not shown, but no crash
http://www.iconfinder.com/icondetails/3 ... indow_icon

No problen with the png versions of the same pictures

Image
the images that are correctly shown in this screen grab are png and bmp.

Edit: this is the message i get before crash:

Crash is fixed (the ico file which caused it was corrupted and I didn't check if the image was correctly loaded when resizing!)
This image won't load though.

Fixed the drawing of correct .ico files, should work fine in next version! :)

Polo
Form Designer which here ->http://www.gdpcomputing.co.uk/formdesigner.html does not work in Linux. Form Designer which is located in the distribution 5.00b2 -> works. :?

Hi Polo:
Thanks for your great job!!!
I noticed that version 4.70 beta1 supported unicode, but the one included with the latest PB 5.00 does not.
am I wrong?
