Post by jesperbrannmark »

When using toolbar, has anyone succesed to put a textgadget/any type of textinput with a search icon in it - like spotlight search on a lot of the cocoa applications around (like mail, finder etc) ?

It's a NSSearchField inside a NSMenu.
It doesn't exist as a PB Gadget but it is a Cocoa object that could be used if you wrap it in a lib.

I don't know if it is available in all operating systems.
I added it to my userlib in case you want to use it.
It's very basic; didn't add support for recent searches since that would require a file to store those.
