I changed from XP to windows 7.
When I download the latest version, Win7 tells me the software could cause damage:
"...kann auf dem Computer Schaden anrichten".
The same with an older version.
What do you think?
Greetings

Welcome to Windows

Microsoft sadly thought the solution to security issues in the OS is to make the user scared.
I had two users call me today about the same thing about my software, its just something to live with.

It's disgusting.jesperbrannmark wrote:Microsoft sadly thought the solution to security issues in the OS is to make the user scared.
I've even put a message on my download page that states the user may get a warning from Microsoft and/or other software vendors when installing or running my software, because we don't pay blackmail ransoms to companies just to make our apps appear safe. Some users have emailed me to say they love that!jesperbrannmark wrote:I had two users call me today about the same thing about my software, its just something to live with.

Microsoft Visual Basic only lasted 7 short years: 1991 to 1998.
