Compiler not loaded PB MacBook Pro

When I try to compile/run or run my very simple PureBasic program, a message comes up on the screen "Compiler not loaded",

My question is how do I load the PB compiler on a MacBook Pro.

If you haven't done it, you need to install Xcode and Xcode Command Line tools.

I have loaded XCode & commands but still can't get pure basic to run. It comes up with compiler not loaded.

Try the compiler from a terminal to see if it will run from there?

Using the x86 version right? Demo or Full version?

On OS X you not only need XCode but also need to install the "XCode command line tools" package.
