Make a form background transparent?

Post by karmacomposer »

How do you set a form color to transparent so any text backgrounds are also transparent?
To be a bit more descriptive, I am using PureVision Form Designer and I created a window and
loaded a background graphic for that window. Even though I set the window background color
to - on the keypad (which is supposed to set it as transparent), all the text backgrounds are
the default ugly dark grey. I need all the text backgrounds to simply not be there to show the
graphic background instead.

Any ideas how to do this?

Use the DrawText() function, DrawingMode(#PB_2DDrawing_Transparent)
Edit: (Making the Window transparent does not make the text background transparent)

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.
