Select then Drag'N'drop to move code Fragment

Post by Guimauve »

Hello,

Something I miss in the PB IDE is to be able to select some code inside the Editor then simply drag it somewhere else in the code. For the moment, I need to Select --> Cut --> Paste the code fragment as a workaround but it's annoying to do this.

I'm pretty sure about this feature that exist in the previous version of the IDE (4.40 or 4.50) and I would like to have it back, even if only few people use it.

Best regards.

Apparently it's working on Windows. But on Linux it don't work.

When I try to move the code move where I want but when I release it it return back to it's original location.

So my request should be moved to the Linux Bug Section.

Best regards.

Hello again,

I have forget to mention that the Drag'N'Drop between PB IDE and other program (such as gedit) work fine.

Best regards.

I know a repeated report is annoying, but the problem still exists in PB5.4.
In the current ScintillaGadget moving blocks with the mouse works.
