Once I release the Form Designer (free of charge by the way!), I'll try to release properly my two gadgets ;)
Why not release them now under beta test standards - we'll understand.

How does one create a gadget for use in the visual designer or other form designer apps for PureBasic?

Well I think both of the gadgets are quite stable anyway (and work on the 3 OSes), it's more the legal hassle that kept me from releasing them properly, I'm not sure I want to set up a company and end up selling a few licences :)

What legal hassle? Setup a paypal account and sell them. If you start making thousands of dollars, then worry about it. At tax time, it's considered suppllemental income - no legal requirements.

As far as a EULA, just copy one from something else. I sell virtual instruments and that's what I did. You do not need a lawyer to change a few lines to read your company and your state.

If legal is what's stopping you, it's a non-issue.

In which country? You're probably right though, that's what I'll end up doing ;)

In the USA, you do not necessarily need a license to do business until you make over $600 per year. However, since this would just be supplemental income, there is really no need for legalities. You just claim it as 'other' income.

If outside of the US, not sure what is required. I doubt anyone will shoot you for selling 10 copies of your software. If you sell thousands, then open a business with the money.

The key is that if you have something people want (morally, ethically and legally) - sell it. If you wait, you WILL lose business (and probably have).

Ok thanks for the explanations, not sure how it is here, though I'll just see how it turns out :)
