From the changelog it seems there's no much new things on the linker, though it's always better to have the latest version

You have to compare the changelog with the 5.00.1 (2008)

Oh my mistake, I though PB was using the latest 6.5 version!

I have also a PureBasic installation on this is the PellesC stuff replaced with the new PellesC.

I have now just upgraded from 6 to 7, not sure why, perhaps I will learn to program in C one day.
