Hello everyone,
It's a sad news, I officially declared bankruptcy today ! For the next 7 years, this element will follow me like my shadow.
I want to thank all the assholes in this world that caused the global economic crisis. Great job guys, I would not have done better myself !
Best regards
Guimauve

Re: Well now it's over
If you filed today you will be discharged in some several months. It's not a quick process. Note that in Canada, if you have student loans they will not be forgiven in the bankruptcy. A few years ago a law was passed on that subject, spearheaded by a bunch of god damnable bankers. One of my chess friends is a longtime trustee in bankruptcy in Ontario and he's told me that in Canada you can be discharged in bankruptcy and re-establish your credit within about two years -if- you know how to go about it. Sure, the bankruptcy will show on your equifax report for the next seven years but with a re-established credit history it really won't hold you back too much. Many many good people have filed bankruptcy in the last few decades and the credit hawkers know it all too well. Where the great unwashed sees only failures, they see customers. Don't count yourself out for seven years. Do some research, make some calculated moves and you'll be back in business within two years. I'm rooting for you. I wish you the best of luck as I venture into a new life where credit has no place or meaning.

Hope, you will be able to have more luck in the future, wish you the best.
About the crisis – there is a sort of guys who are able to get richer and richer exactly because of the actual ecomic situation, sadly there is nobody to stop them - no goverment, no organization (haven't heard anything from "occupy wallstreet" for month), no single man.

In the Netherlands, if you're a person and haven't been hiding behind a 'limited', you might be stuck lifelong (or close to) once you go bankrupt. There's no walking away here. Ever.
