Anyone know?

Post by mrbicrevise »

Hey guys,

Just looking for some editing for my games cut scenes. What I would like to do is capture some "real life" video and save it to an *avi or similar format.

And now the question. :D

Does anyone know of any video editing software that I could use to "green screen" i.e., isolate an area and paste it over a background or another video? For example, if I filmed a dog walking past a wall, would there be any software available to isolate the dog from the background and paste just the dog over a new background, maybe in a park, for instance.

I would appreciate any feedback.

Thanks,

Pete

Yeah. Adobe Premiere has mask and transparency functions to do easily that.

For video I think what you are looking for is pretty complicated sw and hence expensive. Check out some 3D sw sites and their other offerrings or links to 3rd party software.
