:(
At least my post was not meant to be a rant. I'm really stunned how much topics you've marked as [Done] within such a short amount of time and I'm sure others think so as well!
cheers,

Which only makes yours a parodically sarcastic rant, but a rant nonetheless. Xanax?
Erm, What Kuron is doing is what we call in the UK "Shit stirring" lol. I know, I used to do it a lot in the (not really all that long ago) old days :P. (/me pokes his tongue out at Kuron :P)

It's not really a rant, just sarcastic bitching really :P

But to be honest on this occasion Kuron, there was really no need to throw any form of sarcasm at Fred. It's not like he took a shit in your fridge is it :P. He's now working like a little demon trying to get PB all fixed up... A little respect and gratitude would go a lot further than taking side swipes at the man.

But, I have no intention of arguing with you old friend, I am *Still* not your enemy :) But, as this is my last couple of weeks online... I decided to take my crusade of "stopping the pointless forum wars" public instead of via private messages and emails. Things have been quite nice around here recently. A lot of the crap has stopped (which is great to see :)) Until you Spoiled it Kuron lol. Come on dude, its time to change! Times have changed! Stop being so angry at the world for no reason :) We have lost to many good people from this forum because of Idiots like me/you/others like us...

Ciao!

PS. Nice to see all the bug fixes going on Fred & Freak! I for one am grateful.
Ash.

I'm glad Fred's very active, can't wait to test the new version (actually, the one after that, with Cocoa support :D )

Hi freak,
I promise this is not a troll.
Can you divulge any status of the IDE automation/plug-ins?

Do you really expect Fred to fix everything in PureBasic in a 12-day period?
Microsoft Visual Basic only lasted 7 short years: 1991 to 1998.
PureBasic: Born in 1998 and still going strong to this very day!

I didn't. The sarcasm was directed at the OP, not Fred.

No, of course not. But he could throw a brother a bone, and give us just one "DONE" for Linux.

1. Fred & Freak work on one platform at a time.
2. What you have to realise is that quite often the fixes on one platform then bleed over to the other platforms - so when it is the Mac & Linux turns, a mass of [Done] will hit the forums.
3. It make most sense to fix up the the "most working" version first as that is your benchmark for the other platforms.

Of course Kuron, for that jibe at Fred... Fred please work on Mac next! Leave Linux till the last!

That would actually make me really happy since my current contract work is for a Mac project and I have a lovely 27" iMac on loan. I would much rather use PB than Objective-Basic. :)

Bernd Noetscher has been doing a pretty good job with KBasic/Q7Basic, which is based on Nokia's cross-platform QT framework. But for some reason, his single-platform Objective Basic, designed around Cocoa, has not been able to take off; the latest version requires OSX Lion and XCode 4.2, minimum.
Texas Instruments TI-99/4A Home Computer: the first home computer with a 16bit processor, crammed into an 8bit architecture. Great hardware - Poor design - Wonderful BASIC engine. And it could talk too! Please visit my YouTube Channel :D

It is a shame it isn't more popular. Not a bad product by any means.
