Listened to your music Chris, Lostpaths and Coolpianotrack are my favourites, I am a bit old in the tooth for the Trance numbers, they sounded ok though, but I am more into 60's to 80's style synth stuff, blues, heavy metal, jazz, prog rock etc. :)

Anyone interested in getting a PB muso, PB music/audio code related thread/link going somewhere. :?:

Thanks Chris! Coolpianotrack and Lostpaths are my favourites too :) I'm not really so much into producing dance music any more (was something I did when I was younger), I prefer just playing/jamming these days. I'd be up for a PB muso thread if anyone else does?

I like the backing synth and drums to dance music, but for listening, while not dancing, it need more leads and turns to add a bit more meat the the bones.

I am working on the concept and will post a thread soon and see if there is any interest, not sure where yet, the two options are General Discussion or Off Topic, which one would you choose. :?:

PrincieD,
Do we still get the source code for the library? I have not received it since 1.27. Thanks. :)

Yep I agree, It's good to dance to (because of the repetitive nature) but for easy listening nahh! I love listening to ambient chilled out tracks while programming, Boards of Canada is great for not being intrusive on the mind.

Cool! 8) hmm maybe General Discussion as it could apply to producing music for games etc...

Hey Akee, yes of course, sorry you've not received the source since 1.27 although my mailer logs show that it has been sent successfully to your rocketmail account. If you've changed your email address then just send me an email to chris@progui.co.uk and I'll update the database :)

The new version should be ready in a couple of days by the way, it's a pretty nice update too! ;) :)

Cheers!

Yes, I will go with General Discussion and if there be enough interest I will see if PB board will make it a sticky, thanks for mentioning music for games, I did not think of that angle. :)

Thanks Alex I've received your email, could you let me know if you've received my reply please as I just want to make sure emails from me aren't getting filtered as junk for some reason (with the source code it could be that messages with zip attachments are getting rejected :?)

Cheers!

Had a quick check on the examples, seems to be good speed optimisation on rendering. :)

Just a quick note on the slitter grippers when single clicking, I find that if I click real quick on the gripper the mouse will stick and move the splitter without the button needing to be pressed down, until I click it again to release it, clicking slower gives the normal effect. Is this a feature or a timing effect, if not, leave it as it is, because it works like an added feature. :)

Good good, I'm glad it's rendering quicker :) This is due to me re-coding some parts of the main drawpanelpage subroutine.

Erm yes it's a feature! lol ;) no seriously I tried re-creating the bug with the splitter examples but no matter how quick I clicked on the grabber I couldn't get it to do what you described. Verrrry strange!

Yes, it is intermittent on the machine I am using, I think it is to do with my wireless mouse and I still have not upgraded to service pack 1 on win 7, I will do that when I get better internet connection/plan.

hmm that could be the problem mate, does the PureBasic splitter suffer from the same problem?

Only seems to do it when using the #SPLITTEREX_ANCHORED... flag, but sometimes my mouse will stick on a windows scroll bar, so I am pretty sure it is a mouse problem on this machine. :|
