This looks interesting, a little pricey, but they got the packaging right. Essentially this is a Dual Core 1.2GHz ARM based PC in a USB Memory Stick form factor. It's packing QC Graphics / 1GB Ram / WIFI / Bluetooth / USB + MicroUSB / (up to 64GB) SD Card support and HDMI.
With Android ICS or Ubuntu and rumoured to have Windows8 for ARM support in the future.
Connection via Bluetooth to SmartPhone / Keyboard / Mouse / Tablet etc...

The idea is that you plug the HDMI plug into the back of your telly and instant Smart TV connecting via WIFI to your Router.

Alternately, plug it into your PC / MAC or Laptop via the USB and the integrated Hypervisor fires up an Android VM up in a window on your Host OS.

Yes, it's pricey, but if it means going to a meeting to present & only carrying this - not having to lug my laptop around, then it's worth it...

This will be hard to pull off since you won't be able to buy WoA.
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories. ♥️

but there is nothing to stop them from having it "Built in" in the future. It will just mean that the device will be Windows on arm only that's all :). And Microsoft will be more than happy to allow that to happen. It'll be no different than (insert cell phone/Tablet manufacture) having a licencing deal to have the OS on a chip on their devices.

Won't happen. This computer does not meet the requirements MS has specified manufacturers must meet for WoA devices.

Excellent device, though.

It is indeed. very nice spec. But don't be so sure about Microsoft refusing... That's not set in stone, and neither is the rumour that it might get WoA anyway lol :P But Microsoft have been known to supply an OS to quite low volume devices in the past. But makes no odds to me, as it is waaaaay out of my pricerange currently. And besides, you and me both want another certain toy mentioned in another thread :P

I just hope that one gets available to the USA. I am already working on designs for a handheld case and think I have a couple of screens that should suffice.

*ATTN MOD* Could you PLEASE move this post to the correct thread.
