I can't believe some of the statements I am reading.
For god sake, just stop the linux version...
They should ditch both Linux and Mac and just stick to the Windows version.
Just because *you* want these platforms dropped doesn't mean there aren't many who appreciate them and want them to continue.
By suggesting to stop the Linux version and if this append, I will be forced to leave PureBasic for good...
Case in point.

Any who claims Linux has a weak market share must realise that there is no market in which linux participates because it is free. Unless you want to include Android ... and if you do ... the market share becomes significant. Windows isn't everything.

I think the PB team has an incredible license, and incredible product and an incredible support community. If it's not something you want to be a part of, move towards other language solutions. I don't use Pure Basic for everything, but find it very well suited to many tasks and very much appreciate it's cross platforms capabilities.

just make the linux version free open source but sell the mac version for the double of the cost so the philosophy of each is respected.
