A week ago, i was puzzled that i saw a developer response to an IDE bug which i mentioned months ago (there are lots of them in the linux version). Then i realised that i was looking at a new bug report in the windows forum...

I consider the linux version pretty much unsupported by now.

Please note than the bugs fixed in the "Windows" forum are often valid for the MacOS and Linux.

I am a little disappointed with the first beta. None of the recently reported bugs for linux have been solved. We even cannot properly compile without enabling linker options manually. Windows has unfortunately too much preference. I choosed PB because of its multi-platform capability, but i am not really happy with the support of Linux users.

It has always been like this. Most popular operating system bugs are fixed first and then the rest. You'll have to be patient, PB is maintained by a bunch of talented people but they have to maintain their everyday life as well.

Then if the bug(s) are Mac or Linux specific but works correct in Windows, will they be marked as "Done" or should we just keep testing every update? Thanks for the update! ;)

It does support all instruction set extensions including SSE4 and AVX.

The FASM team allways includes new instruction set extensions even befor CPU's are on the market that have them.
