Please allow non-pb files (filename extensions settable within Options) without context highlighting, so character case (upper/lower) is not modified, and the end string is not added. (Added bonus: user-defined context highlighting!)
Please implement Smart Highlight of selected text. There are several open source Scintilla-based editors available for examples.
The recent updates were significant enough that with these two new features, I would rarely need Notepad++; I would be able to accomplish most things all within the IDE.
