How to convert a powerpoint file to PDF and arrange as a poster? I have 9 slides of information and I want to convert these to a PDF file is 3 rows with 3 slides on each row, making it landscape a2 size. The printing place only work with PDF files. How can I do this?

You can't use the PB lib PurePDF on Mac (or may be you can http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtop ... 12&t=47428) - but if you have a Windows PC, then that would be one solution.

Essentially you need to extract/export the slides as images from Power Point, then use an app that can arrange them neatly as required to directly produce a PDF, or firstly create a single image and then save that as PDF. There is probably an app out in the wild that can already do that. I think OSX has a little PDF API built-in? If so, you could probably roll your own app since the document you wish to make is simple.

On OS X you don't need all kind of apps.
The print dialog itself allows to save as a .pdf. It also allows to change the paper size and to select a layout of 9 pages on 1 page.
The only thing you have to do is change these options and print the slides.
