Pure Basic supports MIDI?
Yes, use:

Code: Select all

LoadMovie(0, "song.mid")
PlayMovie(0, WindowID())
The song file used in this game is a *.xm file i believe, which can be played using the Module lib (Midas11.dll or BassMod.dll) or converted to a MXM module and embedded! :)

:idea: Ahh.. Thank you all so very much for all of your support! :D I have decided to use OGG sound for my game because it sounds good with a small size. :wink:

Please remember PureBasic does not support OGG Streaming yet...
Use the OggPlugin just to play *small* sound effects!

hmm, is that why it is only playing part of the music file... Aww... looks like it is back to a large, uncompressed wav file to me. :cry: Thanks you for telling me this. :cry:
