Coding cookbook

Post by MrTAToad »

I've finally got around to putting all my small amount of PureBasic code into one book, which is now available at Lulu (http://www.lulu.com/spotlight/njkatunmapdotcom). Code includes the test code for the Mappy tilemapping routine and a statistical analysis routine.

Wow, will have to check it out. Thanks for notifying us!
Microsoft Visual Basic only lasted 7 short years: 1991 to 1998.
PureBasic: Born in 1998 and still going strong to this very day!

Hi, I saw that you sell Coding Cookbook in epub format. Just curious but what program
did you use to write Cookbook in epub ? Why are some of your books in epub and others
in pdf ?

There is a difference between knowing the code and writing the code.
May the code be strong in your projects.

Ah, you are right. When you click on "more" the upper-left book mentions PureBasic.
Still strange to advertise for a book in the first post. ;)

That depends on who you publish through. Lulu says they take RTF and some other format I think.. If you wanted to do all the editing, formatting yourself and that type of stuff I think they might let you just upload a finished PDF, or at least submit the printing proof as RTF and it gets converted and posted.

Lulu do all the ePub conversion themselves fortunately, as trying to find a system that agrees with all the required standards is impossible (even the programs recommended by Lulu fail various tests).

Whilst not relevant for this language, one has made it's way to the Apple store - several are on Amazon too...
