Yes, but those are two. Remember: Google had 20,222 full-time employees in the year 2009. Everyone is able to make a mistake and compared to this, the amount of security holes which are public is really small. There are many other companies having far bigger security issues with less employees which can make mistakes. Beside this, google has a very high amount of users every day and I'm sure there are a lot of people trying to find holes in such a website, but nearly no one of them finds a big hole.
