Why do you think a new forum for asm will suddenly increase the amount of posts about it? Its not like people are currently somehow prevented from posting about the subject. I don't mind a new subforum, but i doubt it will increase the overall posts about it in a significant way. You can't generate intrest in a topic just by creating a forum for itnetmaestro wrote:Seriously, in the day-to-day postings to the Purebasic forums, very little is said about inlined asm. If you really want to "Feel the ..PuRe.. Power", that needs to change.

It's not only about the amount of posts. It's also about finding existing posts.freak wrote:Why do you think a new forum for asm will suddenly increase the amount of posts about it?
The forum doesn't allow three character searches so you can't search for ASM.

Re: assembler forum
Freak, I think it would generate conversation because people could go to this area knowing what they were going to find there.
And if it doesn't work out, you can merge it into the General forum so no harm, eh?

+1, one of the strong parts of PureBasic is its direct access to ASM, so yes. It's not entirely 'PureBasic' though, so perhaps it should go under... uh... Assembly Programming... Yeah. That's a good forum name!
