Problem with GMail contacts

Is anyone else seeing this problem?

I needed to edit a contact so I went to GMail and clicked "Contacts". The contacts screen came up with no problem so I scrolled down to the contact I needed to edit and clicked on it to begin editing. Nothing happened except for a small yellow and black "Loading" message at the top of the screen. I tried several times on two different computers but got the same behavior.

I eventually gave up on that approach and used www.google.com/contacts instead, it worked without any problems.

Do you use Firefox? If so it could be possible that some plugins interfere Gmail. E.g. Adblock, NoScript, OptimizeGoogle or Greasemonkey to name a few...

Google has been bunnyfutters for me the past week, but I think they have made some changes that are causing issues with Opera.

I'm using IE7.

I'd use IE8 except that I've found too many websites that don't render properly in it regarless of wether compatibility mode is on or off. I concluded that IE8 doesn't work and went back to IE7.
