Nothing there? Just the standard home page to me.
Microsoft Visual Basic only lasted 7 short years: 1991 to 1998.

It may not work unless you're in the US.
Instead of the Google logo a rather antique looking TV is displayed showing the heart from the beginning of the "I Love Lucy" show. "I Love Lucy" is replaced with "Google". If you click on the TV it starts playing clips from the show. All to celebrate Lucille Ball's 100th birthday.
Cute, but I never cared for that show. I guess I'm just very picky about commedy and what I think is funny. I thought shows like The Muppet Show, Benny Hill, Carol Burnett and Friends, and Rowan and Martin Laugh In were funny but did not find Lucy and most sitcoms funny at all.
Not to hijack the thread but the one thing I really miss in today's TV are variety shows. Back in the 70s and before there used to be plenty of them, to the best I can recall there hasn't been a new variety show since the late 70s. It's now all of what they call reality TV which I don't understand because most of the reality TV shows aren't even close to what I'd consider reality.

Just thought it was pretty cool ! I was pointing it out just for the novelty & creativity - not the specific show ...

It is pretty cool! Everybody knows Google likes to have fun with their logo, but this is the first time I've seen an interactive one...
I'm sorry if I misinterpretted your reasons for pointing it out...

You mean you never saw Google's Pac-Man or Les Paul Guitar doodles? Try them now.GWarner wrote:Everybody knows Google likes to have fun with their logo, but this is the first time I've seen an interactive one.

Oh I've seen them but had no idea they were interactive. I wouldn't have know the "I Love Lucy" inspired logo was interactive if Mohawk70 hadn't have said it was in his opening post.
