Just curious, but has anyone considered a PB lib/wrapper for Horde3D? It's a very clean and efficient game engine based on OpenGL. Simpler, I think, than Irrlicht...

Well if it was a DLL it would be pretty simple to use... looking at the download though:
HORDE3d.dll and a few others. are listed in the demo files. Since PB can use almost any .dll lib I have seen yet it should be pretty simple for some of our resident geniuses to peel the docs back and figure out.

Re: Horde3D and PB
Thread resurrection!
If anyone is interested, I have finished a complete wrapper for Horde3D Beta 5. I'm currently using the engine with SFML which is a perfect combination. A wrapper for SFML is also available if anyone is interested (although 2.0 is coming out soon and the wrapper will need a full re-write then). Horde3D itself takes a while to get used to, as it does things quite differently than most other 3D engines with its pipelines and XML-based resources.
Here's a nice looking small game made with Horde3D + SFML.
