PureBasic 4.60 beta 3
Re: PureBasic 4.60 beta 3
The IDE just don't start on LinuxMint 10 x64. When I try to launch I see the Splash Screen for something like 0.5 second and nothing after that.
I can't tell for any previous beta version since I have switch from Ubuntu to Mint today.
Best regards.

2 of the tools in Tools menu, I think File Viewer and Ascii Table produced an error on the first click. However the second time running it, there were no problems. There are no scrrenshots because I could not simulate it.
In the Color Picker Tool, When you change to Wheel, the String gadgets go offset a little.

Try to change the subject gnome, to me has helped.Guimauve wrote:The IDE just don't start on LinuxMint 10 x64. When I try to launch I see the Splash Screen for something like 0.5 second and nothing after that.

Try to launch the IDE as root. To me it helped (that's a temporary solution).lakomet wrote:Try to change the subject gnome, to me has helped.Guimauve wrote:The IDE just don't start on LinuxMint 10 x64. I LOVE the new Commands CreateLine3D,CreateCube,CreateSphere,CreateCylinder,CreatePlane..
maybe some more predefined Meshes would be useful. (at least CreateArrow() could come in very handy).
(And one more request : Backspace Unindent.. - you can see how it works e.g. in the Lazarus Editor('Options/Editor/Auto indent' - its on by default, and its very useful!)

Re: PureBasic 4.60 beta 3
PB crashes and this error is reported if I open the new color Picker in the IDE, close it, then open it again.
Error: Invalid memory access
File: c:\purebasic\svn\v4.60\Fr34k\PureBasicIDE\WindowsMisc.pb
Line: 784
The color string boxes also get mucked up when switching between RGB and the other modes.
Desktop icon not created on installation.
PB beta3 on Windows 7 Starter.

Re: PureBasic 4.60 beta 3
Are we getting close to 4.60 Final or is a Beta 4 expected?
Re: PureBasic 4.60 beta 3
Have you check how much 4.60 bugs are still open?USCode wrote:Are we getting close to 4.60 Final or is a Beta 4 expected?

I know, it's been 9 months since the last update; I think it's the longest update ever! Even a baby would've been born quicker than this update.USCode wrote:Are we getting close to 4.60 Final or is a Beta 4 expected?

Microsoft Visual Basic only lasted 7 short years: 1991 to 1998.
PureBasic: Born in 1998 and still going strong to this very day!

Re: PureBasic 4.60 beta 3
Better we will have some more betas and a late stable release as a quick, dirty and buggy 4.60 PureBasic release version.
