Here I am tapping out code for a website I am preparing for myself atm, doing a bit of youtube surfing when I come across this little song officially released in the this last week from a band that I used to listen to all those years ago while I was busy tapping out code on my old TRaSh 80....
Took me right back to those days it did & i thought maybe a few of the elders on this forum might like a listen also.
And something just for fun, Razor 1911's entry @ Tokyo Demo Fest 2011 (x86 PC) - this demo is only 80Kb big.
Some funny lines stuck in there. Pirates of the 777 seas
Here are some samples of the kinds of songs I'd be listening to while banging out assembly language code on the Apple //, man those were the days! Lots of fond memories from those times.

Definately...
I just thought it was kind of cool that my fav band from those days are still going & releasing music some 30 years on from those times. More than that though, that link from my last post just really seemed to be the same as those days, yet modernized for these days somehow which is not a bad effort i think.
A link to 1 of their songs from so many years ago & you will see what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3W6yf6c-FA
I remember that song, but I guess I just wasn't into most of there music. That's pretty much been the way it was and is for me, most bands or singers end up being one hit wonders with a very few bands or singers actually becoming a favorite. So my music collection has almost as many artitsts in it as it has songs.
I have a similar problems.. I listen to almost anything, as long as I like it.. so I never learn band /artist names or anything and have a ton of songs from tons of groups because I usually only like 2 or 3 things from each artist
