Ogre3D meshes with OgreMax

Post by akee »

I hope someone can shed some ight on this...

Steps.
1. Installed OgreMax.
2. Create a standard primitive pyramid, no materials etc.
3. Export the model with the extention .mesh.

When I use LoadMesh() in PB, it returns 0 meaning failed.

What other steps am I missing?

I tried converting the model to polygon too but it stills fails. :(

Maybe because you need an older version of OgreMax (PureBasic's Ogre isn't the newest).

I used Ultimate Unwrap 3D... worth every penny that I paid! I know there are frostwire versions out there but seriously you should buy this one! It has been a fantastic tool!

I use Blender and Milkshape, but I'd need to figure out the right version for the exporter myself again, as I used it a long time ago.

and I recall hearing that MAYA has an OGRE mesh exporter but that may just be the tools listed in the OGRE site being scripted.

As I said before, there's also an ogre exporter for Lightwave. :)
