Did you use the Icon Composer, which comes with xCode to create your icon?
Did you set the filename correctly in Compiler-Options?
Some Screenshots could help
Try this:
- rightclick on the .App, show contents.
- double click the Contents/Info.plist
- Here you will find the information "Icon File"
The Icon-File should be in the Contents/Resources-folder.

Re: no icon include with the app
The comment of checking the plist, by jamirokwai, was good. Use IconComposer and be sure the file ends with '.icns'.It should also be noted that it can take a while for the new icons to show because the system has to update it's info. There has been various methods suggested to force the system to update more quickly but none of them has worked reliably for me.
MacBook Pro-M1 (2021), Tahoe 26.2, PB 6.30b6

Re: no icon include with the app
That is true on Windows as well. A quick way to check - just copy or cut the exe to another folder. It should also be noted that it can take a while for the new icons to show because the system has to update it's info.

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

Re: no icon include with the app
I change the ico file to icns, re compile my app... no change, but I copy it and paste it to a new folder and it's ok...IdeasVacuum wrote:That is true on Windows as well. Thank for your reactivity...
