Uff... now we need 2500 users, who are ready to donate each 5€ for a very good thing. Perhaps there is a chance, to get it (a bit) cheaper, cause the PureBaisc Community don`t build extreme high resoluted, realtime rendered ego schooters, like doom3. The most of us are hobby programmers. Implementing FMOD, could help PureBasic to reach the next level!

Despite the new FMOD features are cool, almost 50% of programmers will not need sound in their programs at all, and just 5% of the others will need the new, amazing features.
I've used the FMOD library 2 years ago in a 3D enviroment made in C/OpenGL (nice experience), and all I needed was to play no more than a dozen of samples at the same time with opportune frequency, volume, and balance.
This could be enough even for gemes such as the mentioned Quake3
I wonder how cost (if possible) the licence for a "basic" FMOD with those simple specs.

Ouch, $8,000? Well, nevermind them!
