Photo filter for smoothing skins

Post by Michael Vogel »

Some months ago, I found a nice retouche filter to clean up skins of portrait photos. I was happy because the tool had two trackbar controls which allowed to manipulate the bitmaps in a wide range. Now I would need this tool and can't find it anymore. I checked all filter plugins I have installed for my Paintshop program, scrolled through tons of menus in image viewers (e.g. Faststone Viewer) I have installed on my computer -- with no success

Now I've downloaded some programs from the internet (Magic Skin Cleaner etc.), but none of the program allowed to modify the parameters in a wide range (for allowing "extreme smoothing").

Now I hope, the impossible will happen: can anyone remember having seen a filter function as described above?

Thanks,
Michael

Check the browser log, maybe you will recognise the site you downloaded it from when you see it
in the log.

There is a difference between knowing the code and writing the code.
May the code be strong in your projects.

Thank you both, hardly to believe, but I'm (still) sure, that the tool must be somewhere on one of my computer, the history is a nice idea and I also was happy for the link which shows a screenshot link for each product.

Actuale state - still wondering, how I could completely forget where I found this functionality, but the "MakeUp Pilot" program seems to be able to bring up fine results, if I won't have luck within some days, I'll get a copy of this tool.
