Has anyone tried the Intel App Up Store yet? If so, how easy was it to use the SDK with PureBasic?

Hmm, here's something that doesn't require a sdk or client software installed on your computer, download.com. No need to make things harder then what they are. Unless I'm over-looking something that this "App Up Store" offers that I don't see right now?

Re: App Up Store...
It's pre-installed on a lot of netbooks. Kinda like Intels answer to Apple's App store - but for Windows PCs. Looks pretty good (if it takes off).

Oh I see. I guess if it's already pre-installed, that's one thing. But having to download a program just to download other programs sounds kind of silly. But maybe it will do well.DoubleDutch wrote:It's pre-installed on a lot of netbooks. Kinda like Intels answer to Apple's App store - but for Windows PCs. Looks pretty good (if it takes off).

Re: App Up Store...
They do all of the sales transaction, etc... same exchange as the Apple App store - they keep 30%, you get 70%. They market your app, etc... It's not exclusive - it is just one more way of promoting your programs.
They have an API so you can have subscription services, etc - just wondered if anyone had used it yet?

30% is kind of high but if the store becomes as popular as the Apple version, it could be worth it. It looks as they are waiving the $99 annual fee right now. Worth looking into.DoubleDutch wrote:They do all of the sales transaction, etc... same exchange as the Apple App store - they keep 30%, you get 70%. They market your app, etc... Re: App Up Store...
I thought 30% is a good price - same as Apples and others that seem to be popping up.
