God bless PureBasic

Post by sphinx »

I was playing around and testing some programming languages (out of interest, bored....whatever!) some are free , some costs more than PureBasic and others are damn crazy priced (e.g. Runrev livecode) and even worse you pay more for any plugin to extend the language and believe it or not some plugins/extensions are priced the same or even higher than the language itself.

I downloaded (Full and free trials), installed and tried them and you can not imagine the feeling of happiness overwhelmed me that I have PureBasic.

PureBasic is a real gem; a hidden/covered treasure which needs and deserve to have more exposure (although treasure owner does not share it with others LOL)

PureBasic generated code is very very fast and compact/lightweight, the price is damn cheap and many tools and libraries are free with source code.
Others are slow and bloated and believe me does not deserve a fraction of their prices and if they deserve it then it is better pay that fraction to buy PureBasic instead.

God bless PureBasic.

P.S : I am really thinking of (I will do eventually) donating 10% of net sales of my coming PureBasic program to the PureBasic team.

Well, I've actually donated all my software revenue of 2008 and 2009 to the PureBasic team! All of it!

so have I .. but then again I've given them more than what i've made from what i've made from Purebasic (which at this stage is nothing.. lol ) .. so i guess it doesn't count.. lol .. not trying to belittle anyone.. simply stating that many of us have given PureBasic more than we've made from it ;)
Currently using PureBasic 4.51(x86)

Yeah, I know. Pity my income on software over this period was rather... disappointing :-)

You know what, I'll just double it.

Lemme think... 2x 0... that's euh.... 0, yeah. Okay, incoming!
