Mafia
Splinter Cell Chaos Theory
Half Life 2
Hitman Blood Money
GTA Vice City
GTA San Andreas
Stalker
FarCry

But Mafia is really my all time favorite until today. I love to play it during the winter time with the "Schnee-Mod" (snow modification)... hm I just feel like installing it again. :D

I have actually played this and it's other game!
It was pretty good, a friend gave it to me when we were in high school. We played it all the time in math class. I liked the level editor. We had games to see who could complete each others levels in the fastest time.

My list:
1) NetHack (??)
2) Quake 2 (PC)
3) American McGee's Alice (PC)
4) Jedi Academy (PC)
5) Gods Into the Wonderful (Amiga)
6) Heretic 2 (PC)
7) Golden Eye (N64)
8) Road Rash 2/3 (Sega Genesis)
9) Mortal Kombat 1 (Sega Genesis) (My sister would cheat at this game and it would make my face turn so red I wanted to kill her... Of course she is 7 years older than me so she would have been doing the killing...)
10) Gekkeiju Online (PC) (It used to be excellent and very original, but as time went on it turned to crap)

I have to throw this in too:
11) Contra Hard Corps (Sega Genesis) It was so awesome and intense.

You mean Dune II. Dune 2000 was only released on Win-PC and PSX.

It's great just looking at some of the titles already posted. Brings back memories ... like:

Thrust (Amstrad CPC)
Elite (Amstrad CPC and Amiga, and PC ...)
Another World (Amiga).

One of my all time favourites though was Hunter on the Amiga. I'd love to remake that, with similarly simplistic graphics for added eeriness.

Ah, the good old days of the Amiga.

Incredible to think of what can be done with such minimal resources, really. I mean some stuff for the 8-bit machines was pretty crappy, even then, but a lot of the games had a surprising depth of their own. Or am I just being nostalgic?

Perhaps :-)

But I'm still looking for a copy of an old Vic20 game I once wrote, called 'MultiBug'. I've never been able to locate one... Sigh.
