A 1000 bucks to be able to distribute a virtual disk seems to be beyond my meagre financial capacities...

Seems to be free for non-commercial products (not tested yet)

According to the page you linked:

* Only one virtual disk can be mounted
* Max available disk size is 256 MB
* No 64 bit support
* Nag screen
