PureBasic 4.5 x86 heratic behaviour

Hi all,

I run PB on Mac OS X Tiger version, with the xcode tools 2.5.

When i Try to compile the most basic program Console.pb i have some problem with the compiler :

Linker Error.
Syntax line 1 ...

The first line is a comment, and i don't understand why i have this kind of behaviour ... I cannot compile my source so it is a little bit embarrasing.

Does anyone have an idea ?

I think, your version 4.5x86 runs only on Intel processors.
Try the 4.5 PPC - Version.

Why do i need the PPC version, I am running on MacBook intel !

And an additionnal thing you need to know. I start a compilation I have the error Syntax line error. I restart the compilation (without changing anything) and i have the error Linker error ....

It is really strange :/ I don't know if is it a Bug, or just my own mistake with the version of the prerequisites !

But this looks like an incompatibility between OS Tiger, the Xtools and the PB-Version on your Intel Mac.
May be, the Xtools have to be updated.
On my iMac i'm running Snow Leopard with Xtools 3.2, Intel Core i5.

Hum ... it was my impression too ....

Well, i think I have the last version of Xcode for Tiger ...

My only solution is to update my OS ... but it is not on my plan !

I'll stay with PB running only on windows !
