No errors thus far in spite of my severely cramped coding style

Time to work a little more on the survival guide and see what other glitches I run into...

The IDE crashed for me when I changed the prefs for code indentation from the default to "block" mode. I didn't save the error, but it was something about "cvsfreak" or such. I installed RC2 to a new folder but it obviously used my old 4.41 prefs file, and I guess that is what caused the problem. I can't reproduce now because my prefs file has been overwritten with RC2.

Hi,

thanks for PureBasic 4.50 RC2!

Code: Select all

Debug Sign(-7) ; displays -1.0
Debug Sign(0) ; displays 0.0
Debug Sign(7) ; displays 1.0
I stumbled across the new Sign() function by chance, it's not documented in the English help file.
Does this mean that the Sign() function is not officially supported?

I just added it to the documentation. Thanks for the reminder.

That eliminates the only issue I was thinking of. Did you post in the bug reports forum?
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories. ♥️
