Knetlib - KNL_Shutdown()

I finally managed to make knetlib work here...
It works very well and stuff, but whenever i need to call KNL_shutdown or just try close the program, it crashes...

I cant make something and tell ppl "dont worry, it crashes when you try to close it but its ok :D"
you know...

Does anyone still work with knetlib and have this issue?

i have my exemple and knet dll here:

(dont worry, no viruses and no EXE files there, only .pb and .dll)
there are 2 dlls, an older and a newer knetlib version , both crash when you call KNL_shutdown

Maybe it has something to do with DirectPlay, which its based on

I like its functions and everything, but if i dont fix this, i will give up and use the builtin pb network lib that looks a lot simpler and my exemples dont crash :/ besides, i think it also has UDP suport.

Ok, i give up using those nasty k-netlib functions since i can't get past that ANNOYING crash bug with KNL_Shutdown() :x

But i still need to make my Multimedia Fusion game comunicate with my purebasic server... it has nice extensions like moogame, mooclick, and moosock, BUT im almost sure the only way to do this is by using moosock.

This seems kinda hard since i must know something about purebasic networking protocol coz i have to 'write' myself the protocols sent to purebasic from sockets (and omg, i'm a noob)
can anyone give a holy help at this?


EDIT:nah, nevermind... that socket stuff would give me headaches... ill try using Lacewing lib... its pretty good and made for C++ and python, i just need to figure out how to translate the C++ or python headers to pb sintax, since i dont have experience with those languages
