If you visit the official OGRE website

you will see there are 2 MESH exporters, designed for 3DSMax and Milkshape. If you can get your model out of Anim8or and into either of these packages, then you can export to MESH.

I have exported the Anim8or (v0.81) object as 3ds and imported it to Milkshape (v1.6.6.a).. That went fine.. But I can't export from Milkshape to Ogre Mesh... 
I tried to extract the files I Dl'ed fromthe Ogre website, and put them into the main directory for Milkshape, but it doesn't work... :roll:
Have anybody encountered this problem??

i have the same problem i'm, using milkshape 1.6
i've asked on ogre forums.
so far no RE:

ppl seem to be using the exporter at least they're talking about it.
coud it be a different version, i'm using the one precompiled one.

I managed to get it working Ok, but I can't remember the exact steps. I remeber placing the DLL's into the milkshape dir, and then changing the "shortcuts.ini" file to include the exporter, so I could see it on the menu. The rest I'm afraid, is a blur... 8O

Yes, the problem is solved..
Had to copy devil.dll, msvcp70.dll and msvcr70.dll to the windows\system32 directory...
