Output() VS DeviceContext

Post by Flype »

I'm wondering why WindowOutput() is different from GetDC_( WindowID() )

After all, the two are used in order to perform some drawings... It seems to be same but it isn't :roll: So, what's the structure behind a WindowOuput() pointer ?

Another question about 2D drawing :
What about a very fast CLS function on a WindowOutput(), ImageOutput() like for screens (ie. ClearScreen() ) ?

The result of WindowOutput() is something that is PB specific and is only
used for the StartDrawing() command.

The result of StartDrawing(WindowOutput()) is the same as
GetDC_(WindowID())
