For everything that's not in any way related to PureBasic. General chat etc...

With our ping times to Europe you'd think we're on the moon.

First time I've been able to access the site in about 24 hours. Still very slow.

Good thing I'm already a customer! Otherwise I'd just move on rather than fight with it.

I'm trying to invite someone to try DBP but they weren't able to access the website.

Hello,

since yesterday evening I don't get anymore results on the forums-list: 'View active topics' - it only returns: 0
it's the same in all three forums and it doesn't make any difference beeing loged in or not and it doesn't react on any different time-value I choose.

This makes it very hard for me to keep an overview, now I have to open all sub-topics to find new postings.

Please do have a look about this, I already had so much trouble finding my way back after the phpBB-change.

Besides this also I realised I haven't been notified about all replies and today even the replies from the german forum started to be in english.

greetings ~ Vera

Well Houston is the center of the Universe... OK back on topic

A DOS probably came from an amount of distributted BOTS and though some of our Chinese NEW members MIGHT be suspicious in their wants and needs (especially since I think many of them are the same 3 people!) you have to realize that pandering to them has created this problem.

If we BANNED users who posted requests for mailcious code after 1 warning we would have more of this problem.

So what you gonna do?
Binarily speaking... it takes 10 to Tango!!!

It's probably a single pissed off individual. Rook, you should not use this as an opportunity to
piss off another two billion honest Chinese people, after all, they make your life easier by selling
you ok quality cheap stuff.

I respectively disagree about the word "quality" in that statement. Now selling "ok cheap stuff", that I can agree on!

It might have been a user deleting his own posts, I thought I saw a reply in some threads and it was no longer there, the poo s*** is one of them. Can't say I considered that reply very important ;-)

Since November 30th. I was able to start getting back into the forums a few days ago from work although it was spotty at best, but could not get back in from home at all until yesterday.
