Hi there,
We are pleased to release the beta 6 of the forthcoming 4.40 version of PureBasic. It brings the usuals bug fix and some news:
Code: Select all
- Changed ArraySize() to support non-declared (null) arrays
- Added Joystick library for OS X
- Added Systray library for OS X
- IDE: Keyword underlining can be turned off separately from brace matching (under Editor->Fonts/Margins)
- IDE: Autopopup mode for AutoComplete can be set separately for structure and non-structure items
Have fun !

This is going to be the final beta. If you haven't tested the 4.40 yet, its your last chance

Engine3d.dll updated
Remark : you must replace the previous version if you code a 3d project with a local DLL file.
Each time I forget to do that .
Update your engine3d DLL if not ....

Goodie, one question: what's the new standard library: DirectX7 or DirectX9?

It's still directX7 for now. We plan to switch to dx9 for the next release.

I love the auto-listing of structure fields in the IDE, very useful, very nice.
Thanks team.

I just wanted to say that out of all the previous updates, PB 4.40 has boosted my productivity the most with its project management. It makes handling projects (especially large ones) incredibly easy, letting me concentrate on creativity! So a thousand thumbs up for you gyus! If I lived closer, I'd drop by with a few kegs of beer.
