How to reduce flicker without adding a delay?

Why show something so fast? Embarrassing admission: I was dumb, didn't think. Too much of the "DOH!" factor in me at the moment. :P

No worries! Just make sure you put the CPU cycles saved where it counts, under the hood of the program where the real work takes place, and make a tight fast efficient program. :wink:
