Bytessence RegistryCleaner is a freeware registry cleaning and optimization tool created entirely in PureBasic. The program was designed for experts and beginners alike and offers full and partial backups, system restore compatibility, basic error removal advisory and advanced tools (Process, Service, Startup and Uninstallation managers).

Native 32 and 64 bit editions available (64 bit version scans both 32 and 64 bit registry views)
Simple, easy to use, multilingual interface
Thoroughly scans the registry and removes errors
Automatic registry backup, System Restore compatibility
Very fast scanning, light on system resources

Integrated process, service, startup and uninstall managers
Free e-mail support
System requirements
Pentium class processor
128 MB RAM
10 MB of free disk space (and more for backups and system restore points)
Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 (or their x64 counterparts)

I never kept up with how the GUI elements ideas are going?

I bit the bullet and tested it on a couple of machines and it did exactly what it said on the tin :) This will definitely be added to my arsenal of very useful tools!

I tried this on one of my test systems. This did a very good job for still being a beta version. It missed a few things that CCleaner caught, but I think this really has a lot of potential.

Thanks for trying it up :D. I will try to improve the detection a bit in the next versions.
