"Mark all topics read" at the top level of the for

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

"Mark all topics read" at the top level of the for

Post by Mistrel »

It would be nice to see a "Mark all topics read" link at the top level of the forum so I don't have to walk through each individual sub-forum.

There is such a thing already. "Mark all forums read".

@Trond: he is referring to a all topics, not all forums. He wants to look in a forum and mark all topics read in just that forum when he doesn't want to read the rest of them, then he can look at the new topics in another forum.

I think it would be helpful for those who skim the forums less than once a week. Even though it's not difficult as it is now this would be a nice addition.

If he's already in a forum, there is such a function as well. "Mark all topics as read".

mistrel wants to have that link "at the top level of the forum" additionally, not in the subforum only.

I have both opportunities (if I have understood this right):
Mark all forums read (all topics in every sub-forum) and Mark all topics read (all topics in a single sub-forum).

Is it even possible for Fred to change it anyway? These forums are not made
by him; they're a standard web app. Does it allow such changes by the host?
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Nevermind. I just found the link at the bottom of the page. I expected it to be at the top with the rest of the links.

Which board style are you using? It may change from style to style (the link is at the top here with FI Subsilver Shadow).

I'm using Subsilver. You're right. It's at the top in FI Subsilver Shadow.
