PureBasic Code-Archive v1.6
Andre,
Excellent!!!!
I do develop some small app that let me browse the codes and some search capabilitie, maybe could be a good idea to add some to the package. Mine was developed in my knees (1 or 2 hours), but maybe some one has the time to make one complete, search is very usefull.
One suggestion:
Some codes are missing, i rememeber -per example- winamp stuff from GPI and toher ones that are not there... could be a good idea if you have a messageboard to accept suggestions of codes to add.
Thanks for the archive, its veeeeeeeeeery usefull.

ARGENTINA WORLD CHAMPION
It's wonderful..
Thanks MAN!
Now we just need to get rid of some of the obsolete things, and add
resources (images) to some that need it.
I think this resource alone will be a big boost to PureBasic selling point.
It should be listed on the front page... So that potential customers
can see the power.
Also perhaps we can pull some tutorials, or tricks... into it.
P.S. I would love to see more "demo" type stuff, like scrolls, vectors, sine waves etc.... I love the starfields. I am a big oldschool demo fan!!!!

Thanks again for the grateful comments. I will answer some things, posted by tkruk here. All others (Paul, Denis, Kale etc.) please be patient with me, I got many e-mails last 2 days. Need time to answer...

I must clear some things up before, esp. Paul with his great Ressource Site.
But the skilled coders + gfx-/sound-artists are still needed to do that stuff...

Images are normally included in the download archive. They are just not present with a link on the codearchiv site, because my parser (which creates the websites from my offline archive automatically) must be improved to add image links etc. on the website....tkruk wrote:Now we just need to get rid of some of the obsolete things, and add resources (images) to some that need it.
Yes, it should be mentioned. But the code-archive will be "only" a part of a new PureBasic support site http://www.purearea.net. This will be announced officially, when a first version is ready (first in german, later in english)...tkruk wrote:I think this resource alone will be a big boost to PureBasic selling point. Maybe, but its probably better to keep tutorials on extra site. As well the user-guide, all this is planned for purearea.net.tkruk wrote:Also perhaps we can pull some tutorials, or tricks... into it.
Me too, coming from Amiga like many other people here, I think...tkruk wrote:P.S. I would love to see more "demo" type stuff, like scrolls, vectors, sine waves etc.... I love the starfields. I am a big oldschool demo fan!!!!

I just want to offer new version 1.3 of the Code-Archiv (now with nearly 600 example codes).
Take a look at http://purearea.net
I will now take a break and fly two weeks to Greece/Rhodos...

Hi Andre, The site looks great - but as a Mozilla user (not IE) I cannot access any of your links cos the "/" is the wrong way round:
eg: http://www.purearea.net/pb/CodeArchiv/G ... xGadget.pb
