I`m annoyed at Apple

Post by GeoTrail »

I am really pissed at Apple right now.
Yesterday, actually, exactly 27 hours ago, I joined the iPhone Developer program, and it is stated on their site that I will receive and activation key for the iPhone 3.0 OS and SDK 24 hours after purchase. Well, it`s 27 hours now. I have sent them 2 emails to the address I found in the FAQ section, "incase you do not receive the activation key after 24 hours." Well, I haven`t heard anything back from Apple after my 2 emails.

I I don`t get that key this time tomorrow, I am closing my ADC account and will be moving over to Android instead!!!!

Sorry guys, just had to get that out.
Feels much better now. Well, not really. But hell man, I am not known to be a patient man!!

Anyone else here involved with any ADC programs?

When I signed up I got the key almost immediately. Maybe the email is caught in a spam filter somewhere?

I'm taking my bat and going home!
Perhaps you are taking it a little too personally.

I'm about to start an "I'm pissed at Nero" thread so you can get me back there :D

Apple annoy me too.

When I activated my iPhone I checked the tick box to say don't spam me but they still do.

Offcourse I am. If someone else broke the written rules like that, they would get their accounts closed.

Anyways, I got my activation key today, 2 days after I purchased it. That is 48 hours after, instead of 24 hours as it was stated on their site. That to me is VERY poor service.

Anyways, all is good now. Time to get coding and make some money :)

Btw, speaking of Nero. That was my favorite burning software for years, was also the favorite software for everyone I know that burns CD's. But after they bulked it up from 14 mb to 5-6-700 mb as it is today, I've stoped using it. Infact, I don't know anyone in my circles that use it anymore. I have no problem buying software I like. But I moved over to CDBurnerXP. It is what Nero USED to be :)

Uhhh... Eeeee.... *looks to the left... Looks to the right...*

I just use my MacMini from Apple for my CD burning needs...

*Looks for flying rocks from GeoTrail's direction and pdwyer's direction*

*Exit's the location quick as hell to avoid a major beatdown from the both of them*

Mine works fine as a cup holder. And btw, I had no problemo getting the activation key, but it took maybe two days as well.

No worries garrett.
I can´t really say I am a HUGE Apple fan. I bought my MacBook after buying my iPhone 3G, mainly for developing programs. But now I don´t want to loose it. Including my MacBook I have 4 PC´s at home, my son has 1 in his room, and my girlfriend has 2 PC´s hehehe

I chose a 120 GB Zune.

I tried that but found that the program lagged horribly if there was a disc in the burner so I switched to InfraBurner.

I've used DeepBurner (free) and now I use DeepBurner Pro.

I recommend it.
