[UPDATED SystemSpeech] SpeakIt! V 1.60

Post by Andesdaf »

Hello!

I want to present you my little current project, SystemSpeech (when you
imagine of another name that's better, please tell me).

SystemSpeech can make that your computer can talk what you wish. It needs
the Speech.dll from Frank Frabbing / dysti
http://www.purebasic.fr/german/viewtopi ... highlight=

Origninally it was in german and so my translations are not so good (if you
find an bad translation, please tell me).

It's not good form to start deleting your posts just because of no replies.
I for one was very interested but was too busy to do anything with your
idea at the time. I come back now and it's gone. Great. If that's the way
you're going to contribute here, then we can do without you.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

@Andesdaf: I'm sure you appreciate the amount of information present in these forums. Have you read or responded to all of it yet? If everyone in the forum shared your attitude there would be nothing for you to read when you first logged on. Treat people with the same respect that you feel yourself in need of by giving them the time to decide how best to use your posts if it they decide to. Time limits are a little childish.

I cannot believe it.

As someone else already told you, maybe some people was interested but not everyone lives just to answer to any thread we open.

Or sometimes they are gonna to do it but later, maybe to post some useful comment / observation.

Other times all the people who read it are really not interested. But maybe someone else, 6 months from now, will look for it through a forum search and it will find it VERY interesting.

It's called life. It's called sharing. It's called giving back.

I was not interested, but I hope you will reconsider... not only for now but for the future.

Peace.

Please put it back, it may be of interest to someone.

It would be nice if there was a little button that would give instant kudos (rewards thanks...) We all like to know that we're appreciated for posting our stuff in the forum. Sometimes it's a case of not having time to look and it's often not possible to say thanks before looking, but I assure you, everyone does really appreciate your contribution, you are after all contributing to what we're all here for.

Most time the thing we can add to the forum are not for instant reply but "for the records".
Per example i post one example on how to build flash swf files using PB.
I had no replies, but my idea is tu put it here "for the records", then when some day in the future one user do a search looking for something specific related to swf or flash they will find my code and may be usefull for them
The forum is some knowledge base most times, not a fast reply. Because in this moment maybe nobody are focused on the exact point of my code. But latter, when tey need something, they will come here and search (Thats how i use the forums, always come here and search)

Just my opinion.
